The Way I Feel About Life is Strange is Unhealthy

On Tuesday, Dontnod (the studio behind Remember Me) and Square Enix released the fourth episode of Life is Strange, an amazing masterpiece of a game.

They release the episodes a month and a half apart (which is kind of lame) so I had forgotten some of what had happened in the last episode, except for the major plot points which made me want to beat my head in for the feels I was about to experience.

I won't talk too many major spoilers in case this convinces someone to play this freakin' tragic game. Life is Strange centers on Max Caufield, a student at Blackwell Academy - an academy for gifted photography students. It starts off like any other life-style simulating game, but takes a huge turn when Max discovers she has the ability to rewind time.

Beyond just these abilities, Max finds that Blackwell Academy isn't all that it seems and her and her best friend Chloe begin to unravel the truth of Arcadia Bay, before it's too late.

Seem dramatic? Trust me, it is. This game is a whirlwind of emotions and if you love story based games, games with huge choices, and major character development, please download the first episode and give it a shot. It is an episodic series reminiscent of Telltale's The Walking Dead, but the choices you make play a much bigger roll than in most episodic games.

The episodes are $4.99 a piece and are available on most platforms.
